 After working all day Saturday we headed out to the beach on Sunday to enjoy the wonderful weather!  If it were not for my over protective father I would have been swimming way out there (thanks Dad!

After emerging from a beach cave Dad and I saw this awesome view that Dad was able to capture (Gigi & Mommy silhouetted against the sky, ocean and clouds.  Awesome!

PS - Daddy was able to visit Aunt Nancy in Point Arena on Saturday (while I was selling cookies) and had a great time (though he forgot to take a photo or two...Daddy??).

Christmas in the mountains

Hi Family and Friends - I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. We were lucky enough to have both Grandmothers (Gammy & Gigi) and all the accompanying dogs (Sarah & Jammu) with us in the mountains. Today we made a special trip to Yosemite and W-O-W!!!

Here is a photo that Daddy took of us today at the park near our house.  The hills are fabulously green these days and Dad reviewed the procedure if we spot a mountain lion (look big, don't turn your back, back away slowly and if needed, fight!).  Luckily none of that was required.  Anyway, we had a great time walking the hills.  Until next time!

It has been a while since my last post. Life is good! PAL turned 2 in May and I turned 4 in July. If you missed either birthday and are racked by guilt, feel free to send us belated birthday gifts :-) Just Kidding!

Mommy was so kind to give us both a haircut last weekend and I wanted you all to see. PAL's hair was growing like a weed (curly weed that is) and mine was getting a little long too. Anyway, here is our new summer cut.

Rainy Sunday

Hi all,

Opps if you are getting this twice - I accidentally posted to my Sissy's blog (she doesn't appreciate that so I deleted that one and put it up again). Here goes ---> Here I am in out in the rain in our backyard. Today was a wet rainy day and I was going a little stir-crazy inside. Cousin Time in Cape Cod

It has been a while since my last post. The summer has been a blur but loads of fun. We are on one last summer trip and currently are in Wianno on the Cape with Mommy's side of the family (Gigi, Uncle Bob & Aunt Wendy + the Charbie & the twins, Aunt Liana & Uncle Gabe, Uncle James and Mom and Dad + PAL too). Thanksgiving in Missouri

My new BFF

Here I am with my new BFF. He visited with him Mommy (a classmate of Mommy's from college), Daddy and older brother. They were on their way to visit family up north and stayed the night with us. He slept in the backyard with his Daddy and brother in our big tent. It was so cool!

BART'ing to the Orinda Farmers Market

Here we are BART'ing to the Orinda Farmers Market to visit aunt Liana. We walked to the BART, loaded up in the elevator and all got on. Then we sampled aunt Liana's berries and helped her sell out in no time flat. I'm a natural!

Feeding the animals

Here I am with Mama and Gammy (but you can't really see her) feeding a Ram. Just an fyi - a Ram is a male goat for those of you who are four legged challenged (I was a little confused). We were able to do all of this at Little Farm in Tilden Park up in the Berkeley hills. We had so much fun and were also able to feed the pigs, cows, chickens, rosters and sheep. It was so much fun.

Surprise visit from OC Family

Hi All,

Today we had a surprise visit from my great uncle Denis (Papa's younger brother) and great aunt Robin. They were on a west coast road trip on there way to Santa Cruz when they stopped by to say hello (and meet PAL for the first time).

We ate sandwiches outside under the umbrella and got the update on their first grand child (check out E's blog: http://therubalcabakids.blogspot.com/ ).

Sorry this is so late but my little sister was hogging up the computer with her blog :-( Maybe Santa will bring us another computer? Anyway, we all were down visiting Gammy for the 5th annual Tracy Claus Memorial Racket Ball Tournament (I wish I had had a chance to meet Tracy!). The day of the tournament we took a trip to the "locally, world famous Chuck's" (a Tracy favorite) and while we were walking back to Gammy's house we stopped for a little play time. Introducing my little baby sister

Hi All,

Here is a picture of my little baby sister. Dad brought this photo home for me so I could upload it. She was born early Thursday morning (5/1/09) at 3:01am. She weighed 8.1 lbs and was 20 1/2" long. She is healthy, happy and expected to be home later today (Saturday). I'm so excited. I'd tell you her name, but that is Mommy and Daddy's surprise. Let's just say I helped with the process :-)

I read that it is never to early to start reading to babies. Here I am reading to my baby. She likes it and it makes the car ride more fun. And I think it is good practice for when my baby sister gets here!

Carly, my playgroup gal pal, turned 2 and had a rock'n birthday bash! Here I am in the bubbles dance party. It was tons of fun!

Lunch in the City

Yesterday Gammy, Daddy, Uncle Stan, Timber and I had a fabulous crepe lunch on Polk Street in the City. Here I am after paying my respects to the chef (he even gave me extra orange slices since I loved them so much). We sat outside with Timber (she is the one taking the photo). Out!

Watching the Inaguration (at home)

We decided the best place to watch President Obama take the oath of office was from our tv room (while eating breakfast). I was a little distracted but as you can see (barely) Timber was really into it. I'm not totally sure what is going on, but Mom and Dad seemed pretty excited. Out!

Hiking Weekend in the East Bay

What a weekend! I must have walked two whole miles over two days. I'm pooped! First we went to Briones Open Space with Gigi (she is the awesome photographer here!). You can see the mountain buggy way off in the background. There were even real cows here. Timber was digging that...!

Then on Sunday Mom and Dad and I hike along the Carquinez Straight and saw a live train. Very cool. Timber was stoked again and I think she even ate some poop :-( Dad was not happy

Anyway...great weekend and fun to be outdoors!
